I should have read more of the reviews about this company. We booked my car to be shipped from WV to AZ a month in advance. They have you give them a 3 day window and I called twice a day to confirm. I was given excuses and lies about them having a carrier to pick up my car. When the final day comes to pick up my car before I get on a plane to fly across the country, I’m told they don’t have a carrier. Then the guy “guaranteed” it would be picked up the next day and after going back and forth, then he “guaranteed” it would be picked up the following week if it didn’t get picked up the next day.... I told him his guarantees mean nothing since they clearly don’t know what guarantee means. I cancelled with them and decided to go with a different company who told me the truth about Nexus. They give you a low quote to hook you and then they can’t find a carrier for that price, they wait till you’re desperate and jack up the price. Overall, I understand things happen but I was lied to the entire week so they wouldn’t lose my business. If they were honest from the beginning of the week, I could have given them a couple extra days and made arrangements. But after realizing they were giving me the run around all week, I can’t trust them with my vehicle. Use a different company and do your research!

This is a scam business. They gave me a quote in writing, specifically stating no extra charges. They said they'd give 24 hrs advance notice of pickup. They called the morning of on the last possible day and demanded an extra $100 to complete delivery. I called and there is nothing they'll do about it. John Taylor felt that by firing the person who quoted me he was no longer obligated to honor the quote. There is lot's of competition - don't use this broker!!

Bad Service experience I have with Nexus, initially agreed to shift my car for $600 fro MS to PA paid $100 as advance, I moved to PA before my car. After a week Mike ready to ship, one executive called me and told that no one driver is ready to my car for $600 and I need to pay $650 them I said OK. I got my car and driver asked for $650, I told I have already paid $100 and I will remaining $550, he refused to take $550, I don't have any option called Mike not responded I paid $650, total they charged $750 and he agreed for $650. Later I spoke to Mike he said I will check and get back to me, till now no response and I requested for the invoice, even I have not received my order invoice. $150 they charged excess amount from me. I am not recommending.Poor service, took above a week for shift my car and false commitment agreed for 600 and charged $750.

I set up my pick-up a week in advance. After getting a guarantee for a specific pick-up date and rate, Nexus Auto Transport cancelled the morning of and started giving me options that were at least $250 higher than the original quote.

If they were able to honor their rate and pay the difference, or at least share in the difference, that'd be one thing, that'd be called good business. Instead, they have been dragging this on for two weeks now, giving me quotes that are now, not so surprisingly, at least $200 more than the original quote, with no effort on Nexus' part to make good on their guarantee.

DO NOT work with this company - they are crooks and cannot deliver anywhere close to what they say they can.

John quickly responded in a follow up message responding to my quote request to ship my van 150 miles. He was very personable, professional and very reassuring. John could sense that this was a stressful situation for myself and made the whole experience problem free. Chris, my transporting driver, went to work on his day off to load my vehicle to ensure

that it arrived when and where I needed it to be. Both gentlemen very professional and courteous, observing all safety precautions to keep all involved safe during the pandemic.

Rest assured with Nexus.

When I asked for a quote on-line for transporting an auto from Texas to NC, Emma with Nexus was the first to call. She explained their service and emailed me directly the company information. After a day of reviewing 4 companies I chose Nexus and called Emma to reserve a spot. She answered all my questions and set me up with Shipping Experts for a pick up the very next day! After not hearing from the driver on that day I was able to contact dispatch and get his name and number and contact him directly to set up pick up time that worked for us both. The service cost of $700 was right in line with quotes from the other companies. If I ever need this service again I will call Emma!

This was the first time I have shipped a vehicle. Charlie matched the lowest offer I had. Anna confirmed the pick up for the next day. They answered my calls and assisted me during the transport. From sales to dispatch helpful, honest, reassuring, professional, courteous, and eager to consider my suggestions for customer and sales enhancement. They chose a fabulous young driver who was superb in his on time arrival. Lucas was a pleasure to interact with. He took great care of my vehicle.

He too was all the characteristics of the above personnel. I will only use this broker in the future and I will wait for young Lucas to deliver my vehicle. All three of these young people have terrific work ethic.

Scammer, they give you a low rate at first, when you are on the hook, they ask for an extra charge.

They gave me a three-day window to pick up my car. The car wasn't picked up on time as we agreed. Later, they told me they just found a driver to transport my car, but I have to pay 200.00 EXTRA!! Otherwise, we will not be able to transport your car!!

My Car at the auction, my free storage days have ended, and because of Nexus’s dishonesty, I have to pay $ 40.00 each night until I find another company to transport my car!!

If I could give them 0, I would. Horrible communication and big Liars.

TL/DR: Car arrived three days later than promised and the company charged me more money than we agreed on. This was one of the most deplorable experiences I've ever had with a company. I was shopping around to see who could give me the best deal, immediately got a call from one of their reps. I was originally going to go with Sherpa, I really should have and deeply regretted not going with someone else. The thing the rep told me that got me to go with them, is they "guaranteed" they wouldn't charge me any more money than what we had agreed on. After securing my timeline for pickup and drop-off, I went ahead and paid my deposit and they said they'd charge me the rest when the car was delivered. The pickup day came and went, no update from Nexus about when the driver would be there. Finally the next day rolled around and the driver showed up at 6 pm, right before the dealership closed. Nexus continued to boast about how I'll get same-day delivery, and so I waited until 3 am with no update. Finally I went to bed, expecting to hear from Nexus first thing the next day about my delivery. Nope! I had to follow up with them, and then finally hours later heard from the driver's business (because Nexus is a broker for services, they don't actually have drivers that work for Nexus), telling me that the driver's vehicle had broken down and they will likely deliver that night or early the next morning. Mind you, at this point, I'm waiting past midnight on a work night for this car to finally show up. At last, the driver's company reached out to me about 11 pm, asking if they could drop off at 1 am on a Monday morning or 7 am. I opted to see my car in the daylight, because at this point I don't trust them at all to not have damaged my car and try to deliver at night to avoid detection. I asked to have the car delivered after sunrise. 6:30 am I get a text that my car has arrived, but I had made them wait until the sun came up. I asked the driver about his vehicle troubles, and he told me he hadn't had any car issues and was confused by my question. So... this company had been lying to me. Then I find out that the driver is cash-only for payment and the price was $100 more than quoted, which would have been nice to know ahead of time. So I had to run to the bank in order to pay the driver. Luckily the car arrived without a scratch and in perfect condition, but I will never recommend anyone to do business with Nexus and will spread the word with a fury from here on. Nexus, come on... do better.

DO NOT USE!! Im from Germany and needed to ship my car overseas. I used Nexus to Transport it from Oklahoma to Texas. I got a quote for $499. First of all it took them forever to find a carrier. So they found one and told me he is going to pick up the car the next day but I didn’t hear anything from the carrier so I asked if he is still coming to pick up my car and they told me the carrier canceled. (They never contacted me to give me that information) So then they found a new carrier for $749 and told me he will pick up my car early in the morning the next day. The carrier showed up at 09:00 in the morning and had to deliver my car to the port of Galveston. They closed at 16:30 that day but the carrier said that Nexus told them the port closes at 11:00 that day. So when they got to the port at 20:00 pm the port was closed and the Carrier was stuck with my car until Monday. The carrier said Nexus should have to pay the cost they had (hotel and money they lost because they weren’t able to do other transports) but Nexus didn’t think so. They actually didn’t care about the problem we had and kept telling me to talk to the carrier since they are in charge of my car. The carrier wouldn’t release my car to the port until they would get compensation and they were about to take my car to their own Company to El Paso to store it if nobody was going to pay them. (That’s 12 hours away from the port) Since Nexus started hanging up my calls I had no choice other than to pay the $500 extra cost for that weekend. So instead of paying $250 extra (first quote was $499) I ended up paying $1,249. I can’t believe this company gets away with it. So do not use them! You won’t pay the quoted price it’ll be more than that for sure!! And as soon as you paid the deposit and the carrier picked up your car they don’t care about it anymore if you have any problems.
